this past week
Well our game was good, the 14yo had his bye week so they didn't win or loose. :) Our littles scored 3 TD!!!!!!!!! we were so happy, by score we lost but the pride the boys had from scoring was a win in my book! The girls got in on it to the more the boys score the louder and more proud they were.
This coming week the littles have there bye week and the 14yo is at an away game. THere is a chance they can win, we will see.
We will be doing another 2 fundraisers for the girls this week, we are trying really hard to get them in the gym and out of the cold for practices. I have a car wash planned for this coming weekend and "pads and poms". Hopefully between the 2 we will be inside coming Oct. 1st.

new shades
New beautiful colors hae been added to our line today!! I can't wait to try these.

Friday games
Friday was busy, running all over and trying to get out of town to make the littles game. They were 1 1/2 hours out of town so not really far but when you have to be there by 5 and they get out of school at 3 there is not alot of room to do anything else.
The 14 yo game started at 3 and was done by 5:30, he finally called and they lost. 40-17. a little better then last week but not alot. I still think the coaches and the players who do not show up for practice are to blame. But I was't able to be there to see what they did or didn't do.
The littles lost also, 25 -0. Not sure what went wrong or why. The team they played are always good so maybe we were just unprepared. Our girls weren't as loud as they could have been, and they did alot of talking that they shouldn't have been doing. They will be doing extra conditioning this week at practice for punishment.

Games this last week
Freshman played Thursday 9-4-08 we lost 40-8 All the boys seemed defeated at half time. I felt really bad for them. I blame the coaches more then the boys. They were running plays the other team knew and would not go to a passing game until the last 8 minutes (which is where are 8 points came from. 1 TD and a 2 point conversion) By that time it was to late.
The littles game.... It as last night, And although we lost 26-0, the boys were trying. They were holding the line really well. (My son, nose guard, did not let any one he was against get through) They were playing an undeafeated team 2 years running. The team they were plying were also older/lighter kids that had more experence. They did do the best they could and they had fun even though they lost and that is what is important!!
The girls, Our cheer squad looked great!!! The were loud and knew what they were doing. The cheers matched up great to what the boys were trying to do one the field and everyone knew they were there. The other team had cheerleaders, I couldn't hear them until second half. Thet weren't as loud but they did good.
It was a good night of family fun and everyone enjoyed themselves.
