Regionals

We left and met the bus on Wednesday, it was a good trip, a little snow over Donner pass but we had a good bus driver and made it safely there about 10:30pm. We beat all the moms that were driving down (because it would be faster in there cars). All the girls on the bus were great, we had 42 girls ages 8 to 14, and they were quiet and respectful. (only 2 Ravens and myself, the rest were Patriots, our sister team) we watched movies, and it was nice. Got to the hotel after waiting for parents the girls got to bed about midnight. On Thanksgiving the girls were allowed to sleep in, (my 3 were up at 8am) so we met the team for breakfast and then went to practice. None of the girls wanted to practice and emotions were flying high. We have 10 girls ages 8-11 so you can imagine. Got back to the hotel, and the girls all went swimming. they were having so much fun, it was good to see them play and enjoy themselves. We got ready for dinner, and had Thanksgiving in San Jose. It was okay. I've had better food(and less expensive, but I'm used to casino buffets) and they did run out of food which disapointed alot of people. $30 buffet you wold think you would be full when you left.

Went back to the hotel and all the girls were in there PJ's and running around, we put hair up in curlers and then found one of our girls had lice. Not fun all the bedding and towels in all 3 rooms had to be changed, She went to stay in her mom's room to protect the girl from it spreading. (No one else has it, so I think we are good). Got the girls in bed abot 10:30pm, busyFriday ahead.

The alarm went off at 6 am, we were meeting at 6:30 for breakfast and hair to be finished. Needed to get on the bus at 8 am, that means being checked out of the hotel. Got it all done, barely, lol Got to competition and had a little bit of time to practice after check in. The girlsdid good at practice, all focased and smiling. Once they hit the mat, they did okay, didn't get one star up and dropped a stunt. I felt so bad for them. They handled it okay and did keep there sprit up. When awards were called, they weren't suprised they took second cuz they knew what they did wrong.

The other girls left after that, to go home with there parents, Chey and I stayed and watched the afternoon preformances. Chey was crying with the Patriot girls when they came out and didn't hit there routine. They don't get to go to FL.

We then boarded the bus and came home, It was a sad bus ride home, no on was happy execpt Chey and she was trying to not be excited cuz she was the only one going to FL.

We got in about 9:30 last night and by the time we got home I was too tired to be on the computer. wil try to get the pics off my phone and posted soon.

looking for sponsors

*Posting my daughters letter for her.

Hi my name is Cheyenne and I am an 8 year old cheerleader. I am a part of the Jr. Pee Wee Ravens Cheer squad. We have 11 girls on our team ages 8-11. Recently we took 1st place at our local competition, and we are excited to say that we are going to Regional competition in Santa Clara, Ca. and then to National Competition in Orlando, FL.

The reason I am writing is because these trips are expensive and without your generous support, myself and the team will not be able to go. I am currently seeking individual or corporate sponsors to help me continue on. Please take a moment of your time to consider contributing to this extremely worthy cause and something that I hold very true and dear.

Any charitable donation you personally or your esteemed organization can provide would mean the world to me! Any donations I receive will help me with the long distance trips to competitions required for this season’s success. I certainly hope you find it in your heart to help me with whatever monetary donation you can provide. Without your support and good wishes in our continued struggle for success, we the youth of today would not be able to dream of competing.

Thank you for your time and all that you already do for our community. Your continued support and dedication to the youth of today is much appreciated and always welcomed.

Sincerely,

Cheyenne

Thank you in advance for your interest and support. Your donation is tax deductible.

Can accept paypal or checks.

update

So An update...been busy with football and Cheer. I'm working outside of the home for a telemarketing company. Not the greatest job but I can work the hours I want and still be home with the kids when they need me. I am still selling Avon and Affordable Mineral Makeup but the call center is definate income coming in weekly which is needed. I will be going with Chey on her trip and leaving the boys home. :)

Joseph is okay, still don't know why he is having the sesures but the meds have been helping and they are getting to be fewer. He is still working full time but they cut off his overtime so that is why I'm working. On a good note we just celebrated his 4th birthday on Oct. 20th.

Ashton had his last game Friday (halloween) I felt bad that the boys missing trick or treating but he signed the comitment so he held to it, the parents did buy bags of candy and we put them together on the sidelines so the boys did get a huge bag of mixed candy. Over all for the season we had 1 win 7 losses. not a good season but he had fun and wants to do it again next year. He is doing well in school nothing lower then a B.

Steffan has 1 more game of high school football. (1 week and he is done) there standing is 0 win 9 losses. His overall behavior is little better but still has a mouth. He is starting to get lower grades and things aren't so easy (Probably due to them being some college credits) I'm hoping with football done the graes will come up.

Chey is still my little princess, She has regionals for Cheer Thanksgiving weekend (in Santa Clara CA) and possibly nationals the first week in Decmber (at Disney in FL) . Her grades are great and she made the honor role again.
As for Morgan, he is a little ham. He is going to head start and loves it. He is 3 1/2 now and growing so quick, he weighs about 35 pounds. He loves his kittys still and can make just about any of my bad days better.

well I guess that is about it for now, at least now I fel like you know what is gong on and why I've been gone so much. Hugs and prayers and love to you all.
